Margot Carter is co-founder of Cien.AI. She is also the Lead Director, Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of Installed Building Products (NYSE:IBP), and a board member of Eagle Materials Inc. (NYSE:EXP) and Tyler Technologies (NYSE:TYL). Previously, Margot was a C-suite executive for global public companies.  She holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, a B.A. from Binghamton University, and a certificate in AI from MIT’s Sloan School.  Margot serves as Chair Emeritus of the NACD North Texas and is a member of NACD’s lead director steering committee. She is a frequent speaker at events nationwide. Margot has been recognized in the inaugural class of Dallas Innovates AI75, as a Most Influential Director by Women Inc., an Outstanding Director by the Dallas Business Journal, Top 100 Women Directors by Board Prospects, Top 50 Future Innovator and Disruptor by D Magazine and a top AI innovator by D Innovates. Additionally, she has been named a D500 Most Power Business Leader in North Texas by D CEO Magazine for the past five years.
